For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal
life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world,
but to save the world through him.

The New Year… a time for a fresh start… for resolutions… for the end of the last year. Hallelujah! Yet when we get further into the month and as the year moves along the fresh start doesn’t seem so fresh and our resolutions loose conviction. But there is something that will always provide that fresh start. It was a “resolution” that God made for man’s fall and He kept His promise. It is what the verse above represents: His ongoing love, redemption, restoration, relationship and promise of life. God had every right to judge but He didn’t—He resolved. So if you are struggling with what your resolutions will be and whether you will be able to keep them… just look to the resolution and promise of God and remember His faithfulness. Even if ours fades, His does not! Amazing isn’t it?
God is a big planner He took care of the “world.” He is also a great God of detail He opened the door for “everyone.” The price was what was most precious to Him… His Son. It was paid for others also precious to Him…us! You can be one who spreads the news about the faithfulness of God and allows more brothers and sisters to not only be redeemed but restored.
